The Fayetteville Public Library is proud to present its premier literary event, Ozark Writers Live!  Now in the fourth year, OWL is designed to showcase regional authors and their writing and to celebrate our shared culture.  The event also serves as an opportunity to encourage emerging writers by allowing them to interact with some of the best writers working today.

The full day event begins with an opportunity to grab a cup of java and some nibbles and mingle with fellow bookworms.  The day unfolds with a series of consecutive workshops, panel discussions and readings ending about 5:00 pm.  Various authors, songwriters, playwrights, screen writers and others join us for the event each year.  Also, opportunities for book sales are available throughout the day.

We hope you can join us for some or all of our 45-50 minute sessions addressing Ozark culture and the experience of writing about it.
